REPORTAGE

In both these reports we adapt the material we collect for online viewing.

“What weblogs do enable is a significant amount of immediate, ad hoc *interaction* between individual bloggers. They are in fact a tool for social networking. There is a real interest by people in sharing information and in connecting to each other. This interconnection of people with similar interests.”

LONE RANGING REPORTAGE
Reports of our tour with a Volvo Amazon a project for the next three years. This project ends when we return the Moose to the sun never setting in Nordkapp Norway.

"two New Europeans who describe their art practice as 'performance journalism.' Helen Pritchard (UK) and Anne-Marte Eidseth Rygh (Norway) have set out on a stubborn three-year journey called 'Lone Ranging Romance,' during which they will travel by Volvo through their homelands, with an iconic 20-kilo moose head, conducting interviews around the subject of nostalgia with the heroes they meet along their way". WEB RITUALS :
During 2004 -2006 every second thursday of the month we broadcasted an interview and video from this blog.
People we met were given a list of rituals from which they choose one to perform.

"What interests us about rituals is the opportunity for implicit multiple meanings, their 'ungrammaticalness' and as a form of response." GilbertandGrape
