With ‘By the Way’ GilbertandGrape create a frame in which to question how we perceive the cliché that is ‘moose in sunset’. What significance does this image have in contemporary rhetoric?

"Rygh and Pritchard use a genre they call performance journalism. By exploring subjects through the perspective of language they question how we read and write our stories. The way in which they gather their material is similar to that of journalists but differs in their attempt to gain independence from a commercial media with a prescribed political bias. By constructing frames and a place to meet with passers by GilbertandGrape create an opportunity for discussion on the media’s dissemination of information and values.”
